This van has lots of optional equipment that is still functional. As you would expect the battery is not the same battery as described in the original dealer list attached to this listing. But the battery is new as are the tires. There is a new fuel pump and alternator. The van is well maintained and drives great. I have also added a c b radio that can be removed by just unplugging the cable from the fuse box inside the van. (I just purchased another vehicle and don't need three vehicles; even though my wife and I hate to part with this one). Thus my reason for selling the van. Again I have included the dealers description of the standard and optional equipment that was installed. Such as the universal (3) garage opener that was a blessing to have. I have not used the front air which does not seem to function but I did turn on the rear air conditioner and it seems to work. I am not a fan of air so I don't use it. Any questions feel free to ask. Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
