Here we go guys........This is a 1989 Chevrolet Astro van high top . It has always been a passenger van and always lived in Georgia. This no expence spared transformation began about two years ago. We have enjoyed traveling with it every since. It is equiped with a 4.3 litre engine with overdrive transmission. The paint is a bright silver and blue with custom stripping. Special 17 inch rimes and low profile z.r. rated tires were also added. The suspension remains stock. Chrome bumpers were added front and rear to complete the look. The spare tire is mounted underneath. We insulated the entire cabin and blocked out all the windows. A custom remote radio with c.d. player was installed. Amplifier and kicker were also added. A solid tongue and groove oak wood floor was installed. All side panels were covered and can be used for storage. Additional battery has been added in rear Qtr. panel. New glass installed as well. The front bucket seats are custom fitted from a 2013 toyota sienna second row . These seats tilt and swival with extended foot rest A sun roof was added for light and ventelation. A custom flat screen t.v. with remote and disc was added for entertainment . This vehickle is very dependable and could be driven anywhere. It works well as a camper or just cruising arround town. Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere

Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why

Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
