1992 Volvo 240 Base Wagon

We are older Volvo owners and not just flipping a car. I've had this car for about 3 years; I bought it on eBay from a guy in DC and paid to have it shipped here.
I also have a 940 Turbo, a nice 740, and have had a newer XC70 Cross Country. I'm really only the second owner of this car because I bought it from a guy who got it from a charity where it was donated by the original owner. I then gave it to my teenage son who has been driving it, registered in his name.
TITLE IS A REBUILT

After I got the car I put in new brake pads all around, calipers were good. Replaced front strut inserts (shocks), rear shocks, rear coil springs, AND the trailer arm bushings...hard job.
Recently put on new exhaust flange from catalytic converter to the muffler. I also replaced the alternator a year or so ago. Bought 4 new tires 2 years ago, now the two front ones need replacing (see below).

The car was running like a champ until my son was carelessly driving across a dirt field between two paved roads, and ran over a raised manhole cover. This broke a rack and pinion steering fluid line that I have since replaced. I got lucky and found one at a scrap yard. I also just replaced the passenger inner and outer tie rod because it too was bent slightly. Driving the car like that for a couple of months wore the front tires on the sides so they need replacing.
The battery is dead and won't hold a charge, needs replacing; a jump gets it started just fine.
There is a dent in the rear passenger side corner. This small accident took place a couple of years ago and caused the car to be written off and salvaged but it's cosmetic only. The rear signal light are cracked / broken. and the brake lights don't work; tail lights work but don't brighten when braking. The AC doesn't work.

The interior is quite decent but as you would expect, some trim is cracked and such. Center console is missing a piece.

IF YOU WANT A CAR THAT WILL DRIVE FOREVER WITH THE COST OF A BATTERY, A WHEEL ALIGNMENT, AND TWO INEXPENSIVE TIRES, THIS IS IT.
IF YOU JUST NEED IT FOR THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, IT DOESN'T BURN EVEN ONE DROP OF OIL BETWEEN CHANGES, OR LEAK ANYWHERE. THE TRANNY IS SOUND TOO.

I'VE DRIVEN THIS CAR10 HOURS STRAIGHT, AND THEN BACK, 3 TIMES WITHOUT A HICCUP PRIOR TO THE FRONT STEERING ISSUE.
I DON'T HAVE ROOM AND NEED TO GET A/C FIXED ON OUT 740, AND BUY AN A/C COMPRESSOR FOR A MAZDA CX-9...SHE HAS TO GO.
