 Description

1968 PLYMOUTH GTX

Washington State

This is a Texas car transplanted to Washington from the gentleman I purchased her from. She is a real GTX that was restored to a #2 plus car in 2000. I would consider her to be a good #2 with no rust and a very very straight biody that is all metal. MAGNETS LOVE THIS CAR!

The 440 was rebuilt along with the 727 trans and they have 3800 miles total as the odometer was reset to zero when the car was restored. She has a double pumper 750 CFM carb on her now with an updated manifold. I do have the original manifold if you want that. She moves out real nice with good brakes and excellent tires. She runs almost as good as she looks but a little road time is all she needs.

The interior is beautiful with nice bucket seats and a rear seat that looks brand new. The carpet, headliner, dash and door panels look brand new with no signs of wear. The dash is fully functional minus the tachometer which worked up to a year ago. I will have it looked at as I bet it is the connection. All the gauges and lights work including marker lights.

LOTS OF HISTORY ON THIS CAR...

SUPERBLY STRAIGHT BODY

The real nice thing about the restoration on this car was they started with a Texas car that had no rust. The body is really straight on this one and everything lines up really well. This one is all metal and has no bondo or waving or bubbles. She is straight as can be. The paint is absolutely gorgeous with no real flaws to speak of. Chrome looks like it was installed yesterday. She has been a sunny day car since she was restored with one owner since. ALWAYS GARAGED!

This is a turn key GTX with low miles and a strong drive train, no rust, highly documented with her original build sheet and Texas plates.
