A good and solid 1980 MB 450SL Roadster 

 This is a solid Northwest example and is a straight bodied car with 2 owners and lots of garage time. The car just had a professional tune up at a robust 1500$ 4 weeks ago and that made her go from "hmmmmm, I thought this had 225HP" to "Let's watch some Heart To Heart on youtube" She is still very strong at 115k on ODO and I would not be afraid to drive her anywhere. 

I would call the interior is a 7.1 out of 10 with no cracks in dash, no rips in seats, good carpet, a cluster full of working gauges and barely used soft top that was replaced in 2002. The hard top is in good shape and comes with all the proper tools including the originals. The original First Aid kit is there too :)...unopened so pick your battles.

The paint is driver quality with a good shine and has been redone in her original poppy red. She has very good chrome and 8 out of 10 rubber bumpers. None of that cracked and dried out Arizona stuff here. Still black and drinking up the Wet Shine 3000. Her tires are 85%. Her original rims are brake dusted up front with the rears holding on to way more shine. TIME FOR SOME 22's!! Nope... She does have new center caps though so the illusion is there.

 Her conventional water cooled four stroke 276 CI motor has just been given a major tune up by a professional  resulting in a healthy driving experience. These engines are well known for their reliability and are known to do 300k miles if taken care of. Take it backyard Mechanic and she is back yard bound.
