This car is for sale as the result of the untimely unexpected passing of a dear friend of mine. He bought this car brand new. During the time he owned the car it was well maintained and amazingly the car gave him zero problems as some new cars do, so this car is the “farthest thing from a lemon” you could ever expect and will give the new owner many years of trouble-free service.

The car is in superb condition save for a few hundred dollars worth of minor dings one gets in parking lots. This happens to any car if you park to shop.

The 2014 Ford Focus SE model that is the closest replacement in features and options to this 2010 model has a current sticker price of over $23,000+! This car is NOT a rental or something that somebody turned in, because it had problems right from the factory!!!!!! It's a car my friend intended to keep, because it was so good to him!

In its early years the Focus developed many problems. Reliability improved with subsequent model years—until the recent 2012 redesign. The 2002s to 2004s have numerous cooling-system problems. Some transmission and engine-failure problems were reported on 2002s. Power windows and locks are trouble in some in 2002 models as well. The air conditioning is failing in 2002 and 2003 models, and shocks or struts too frequently need work on 2002, 2003, and 2007 models. Paint or rust problems are emerging among 2002 to 2007 models. The 2012s and 2013s have notable transmission problems, such as slipping and rough shifting, and a lot of infotainment-system woes.”
