VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

This rare 1957 Chevrolet 3800 Panel Truck was taken in on trade by a friend of ours that had it in his personal collection. The truck was originally used in a small town volunteer fire department where it was kept indoors most of it's life and very well preserved. The body is very straight and in excellent condition, no signs of rust or rot. The truck was repainted several years ago and is still holding up very well, looks really good. The dash was also redone with new paint, gauges, and hardware. The truck also has a new complete wiring harness. The seats that are in the truck now are from a later model Cadillac but we do have the originals that will go with the truck. The engine is the 235 six cylinder which runs perfectly and idles smooth, starts right up first push of the starter. The transmission is a 4 speed manual with the granny-low gear in it and shifts great with no problems, clutch is perfect also. A new set of radial tires have been added. The panel truck runs and drives great with excellent handling and braking on the road, great driver.
