Drivetrain: 5 yr. / 100,000 mi.

Drive Train Warranty: In some cases the drive train warranty continues after the basic warranty has expired. This part of the warranty covers most of the parts that make the vehicle move, including the engine, transmission, drive axles and driveshaft. Like the basic warranty, consumable parts such as hoses and belts are not covered. However, most of the internal parts of the engine, such as the pistons and bearings, which are also subject to wear and tear, are covered by the drive train warranty.

Volt-Specific Warranty: 8 yr. / 100,000 mi.

Volt-Specific Warranty:

General Motors will warrant certain Voltec components for each Chevrolet Volt (hereafter referred to as Voltec) for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first from the original in-service date of the vehicle, against warrantable repairs to the specific Voltec components of the vehicle. For complete details, refer to your Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet.

What Is Covered

This Voltec warranty covers repairs to correct any Voltec component defect related to materials or workmanship occurring during the 8-year/100,000 mile term for the following:

Propulsion Battery Warranty Policy

Like all batteries, the amount of energy that the high-voltage “propulsion” battery can store will decrease with time and miles driven. Depending on use, the battery may degrade as little as 10 percent to as much as 30 percent of capacity over the warranty period. A dealer service technician will determine if the battery energy capacity (kWh storage) is within the proper limit, given the age and mileage of the vehicle. Your Volt battery warranty replacement may not return your vehicle to “as-new” condition, but it will make your Volt fully operational appropriate to its age and mileage.

Other Voltec Components

Other components covered by the Voltec warranty include: high-voltage wiring, Voltec control modules, e-compressor, Traction Power Inverter Module (TPIM), Accessory Power Module (APM) and Voltec on-board charger.

Brakes

In addition to the coverages above, the brake modulator assembly is also covered by the 8-year/100,000-mile Voltec warranty.

Electric Drive Unit

A number of electric drive unit assembly and internal components are covered by the Voltec warranty, including the auxiliary fluid pump, auxiliary pump controller, and 3-phase cables.

Towing

During the 8-year /100,000-mile Voltec warranty period, towing is covered to the nearest Chevrolet servicing dealer if your vehicle cannot be driven because of a warranted Voltec-specific defect. Contact the Chevrolet Roadside Assistance Center for towing. Refer to the Owner’s Manual for details.

For Chevrolet Volt owners requiring more comprehensive coverage than that provided under this Voltec warranty, a GM Protection Plan may be available. See your Chevrolet dealer for more details.

Roadside Assistance Program: 5 years or 100,000 miles

Chevrolet is proud to offer the response, security and convenience of the 24-Hour Roadside Assistance Program for a period of 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The program provides you with the following services during the New-Vehicle Limited Warranty period:

  • Emergency Towing (to closest Chevy dealer from a legal roadway)
     
  • Lockout Service (keys locked inside vehicle)
     
  • Flat Tire Changes (spare installed)
     
  • Fuel Delivery ($5 worth of fuel delivered on the road)
     
  • Jump-Starts (at home or on the road)

Rust or Corrosion Warranty: Rust or Corrosion Warranty: This warranty covers the vehicle's sheet metal, and protects you from rust and corrosion that are severe enough to cause a hole - surface rust is not covered. However, if you keep your car washed and waxed rust shouldn't be a problem

Inspection terms: If bidder wishes to inspect vehicle it must be done before placing a bid and must contact us for an appointment. If buyer is going to use a third party it must be a licensed company or a local new car dealer that sells the make and model that is been auctioned. If using a third party all cost for inspection must be paid by bidder in advance before inspection. Terms of Sale: When buying a vehicle from Southeast Car Sales Inc.  on Ebay auctions you agree to purchase it as is where is and pay a $399.00 vehicle preparation fee that Applies to Everyone (This fee covers all paper work, next day FedEx to send title to buyer). At the end of auction the buyer must contact Southeast Car Sales Inc.  via phone within 24 hours of the end of auction. A deposit must send to Southeast Car Sales Inc. at end of auction via PAYPAL.COM as soon as the winning bidder received the email that is sent by paypal.com. Buyers must send $500.00 deposit to guaranteed the purchase. At this time the car will be on hold and we will prepare vehicle for shipping or pickup. The balance due must be received by Southeast Car Sales Inc.  within 5 days after end of auction. The vehicle must be paid in full via Money Order/Cashiers Check or wire transfer to our bank account before shipping the vehicle.

 Once payment is received by Southeast Car Sales Inc. will proceed to ship the vehicle.

Residents of the state of Florida must pay for tax and tag. 

Register the Vehicle: If you are from out of the state you must register the vehicle in your state within 30day from pickup. Southeast Car Sales Inc.. is not responsible to register in your state.. If your state has inspections for Emissions, Safety or any other inspections. we are not  liable or responsible for any fees or any delays on getting inspection done in your state. The buyer must be aware of any laws that there state may have on register a vehicle. It is solely up to the buyer to inform themselves before biding on this vehicle.

Shipping: Southeast Car Sales Inc.. is not liable for any delays in shipping or if there is any damage done the to vehicle by transporter. All buyers that have a vehicle shipped are responsible to verify the bill of landing at time of delivery to make sure that there is no new damage that is not shown on the bill of landing. If there is a problem the buyer must make a note on bill of landing and contact the home office of the transport company to make a calm with the cargo insurance

 

Financing: Southeast Car Sales Inc.. is not responsible for finding financing for the buyer. If you bid on the vehicle that means that you have finding ready to pay for the vehicle in full within 7 days for the end of auction. If you are financing the vehicle. It is your responsible to verify that your bank will find the loan with a independent dealer and with the type of title the vehicle has. To be safe before you bid contact your bank and give them the VIN number of the vehicle and tell them the type of title the vehicle has and also the mileage. That way they will be able to verify the information of the vehicle and be able to verify your loan... We do not refund deposit because you were unable to complete the loan process.
