1972 Alfa Romeo Spider!!!

Here is an absolutely beautiful 1972 Alfa Romeo Spider that is in excellent condition and is an absolute blast to drive!!! This Alfa was restored by its previous owner to be an excellent driver. This is a great example of an early Kamm Tail Spider. This is a solid rust free car that has been given a recent paint job and looks beautiful. What really makes this car great is how strong the engine is and how much fun it is to drive. These early Alfas without the added emmissions equipment really run strong and this car is no exception. This car has been treated to a set of mini-lite style wheels that look great and an upgraded suspension that make this car a blast to take down curvy roads.. The car looks beautiful and is a great find. The fit of the hood, trunk and doors on the car lines up really well and the doors still open and close like the car did when it was brand new. The car runs and drive absolutely beautifully. It fires right up and the throttle is extremely responsive, the brakes are powerful and has a firm pedal, the suspension is very tight and the car handles beautifully. This car actually pulls very strongly and is quite quick. This car has a spectacular look that grabs everyone's attention. These cars have a great sound that only an Alfa can make and makes the car a blast to drive. These are great cars to go for a quick blast down the road or for a nice scenic drive. This car feels like a new car!!! This is one of the best years for a spider and values are quickly going up on the earlier Alfa Duettos. Alfas only seem to be getting more and more pricey, sale prices keep climbing.

Exterior: This beautiful Alfa Romeo Spider looks great finished in its beautiful original Rossa Alfa paint. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine. The panel lines up great and all of the doors, hood and trunk all open and shut with ease and have a solid feel. This car was painted several years ago and still looks really nice. You could take this to a weekend show or use it as a daily driver. When the car was painted, the rust was removed from the car. The car really has a great look with its beautiful classic Italian body and gorgeous Panasport style alloy wheels. This car just has that iconic Italian look that still grabs everyones attention 42 years later. The exterior of this car is in beautiful shape and can be driven and enjoyed daily or taken to local weekend car shows.

Interior: The beautiful Black interior of this Alfa is lin very nice condition. The interior is in excellent shape showing very minor wear. The front seats, door panels and dash are in great shape. The wood on the dash and steering wheel have been refinished and looks excellent. This is an early Spider so it has the great looking indivual set gauges that all work beautifully. The wood wheel looks great and feels good in your hands. The convertible top is a very nice canvas roof that is new and in excellent condition. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to be.

Engine: The original Alfa Twin Cam fires right up and runs like a top. This engine, like the rest of the car, has been well cared for and runs excellent. The car starts right up and runs like a top with strong oil pressure. The car runs incredibly smooth and never skips a beat. Whether you are at 750rpm or 6,000 rpm the car runs incredibly smooth. This Alfa also has excellent throttle response and a great sporty sounding exhuast. The engine has very strong oil pressure as well and stays nice and cool in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The transmission is the only thing mechanically that is slightly weak. The 2nd gear synchro is lightly worn. If you let the gear box warm up and you don't power shift the car it will not grind, but if you abuse it or rush it when cold you will get a very VERY minor grind. For my full asking price I will have the transmission rebuilt. The gear change is so nice and smooth on this car, the gear lever moves with ease and has a great feel. The 4 wheel disc brakes stop the car incredibly well and have a great solid feel. The car tracks down the road straight as an arrow and feels solid driving down the road. All of the lights, signals, are in great working order. This car features 15 inch Mini-lite style wheels with like new tires!!! This car goes down the highway at 80mph with ease!!! This is an extremely reliable car. This is a great driving Alfa that is truly turn-key and can just be driven and enjoyed. This really is a great car to spend time in!

Classic Alfa Romeos are getting more and more collectible and are quickly on the rise. Clean early Spiders are VERY difficult to find. The Alfa Spider is a very appreciated model due to beautiful design, race car prowess and they are actually inexpensive to maintain. Duettos are no exceeding 100k dollars for prime examples. This is going to have an effet on this genre and likely pull these cars up in value as well. This is a great opportunity to own a very nice example of Alfas beautiful Spider at an affordable price. At Close of Auction
