Recently restored into mean Pro Touring dream car, this 1969 Camaro Rally Sport displays bodywork that is nothing short of immaculate. Every panel is aligned to better than factory fit and all the cars seams are narrow and precise. On top of the gorgeous body, a smooth House of Colors High Gloss Black paint that perfectly highlight the car’s excellent lines. From the looks of its high quality finish, it appears that a lot of effort was put into making sure this cars paint is as slick as glass, and the result is an eye catching classic that has lethal curb appeal.

At the front of the car, a stainless trimmed black grille features a showroom fresh “RS” emblem and sits between stainless trimmed Rally Sport headlights that work perfect and close flush with the cars body. Below the grille, a showroom quality bumper tops clear parking lights that are centered above a familiar Camaro D80 front spoiler that’s free of curb rash. At the top of the grille sits a traditional ZL2 steel cowl induction hood and a like-new windshield. Behind those wipers, bright, dent-free stainless trim that was bought new during the cars recent restoration. At the sides of the car, Rings Brother's black door handles, a correct chrome driver’s side mirror and black trimmed Rally Sport fender louvers add just the right amount of detail to the yellow profile. On the hood you’ll find chrome inlayed “502” badges that provide a subtle warning to would be challengers. At the back of the car, a D80 rear decklid spoiler sits above crystal clear segmented tail lights and a chrome “RS” emblem that is perfectly centered on the rear valence. Below those tail lights another showroom quality bumper hangs above Rally Sport exclusive chrome trimmed reverse lights

That said, if you think the exterior of this buff pavement pounder is impressive, you’re going to LOVE what’s under its hood. Pop the car’s traditional latch and you’ll find 502 cubic inches of GM Performance Parts V8 that produces roughly 643 horsepower and makes the kind of killer noise that elicits an immediate ‘deer in the headlights’ look from anything with ear drums. Electric hideaway headlights, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor is fed by new stainless fuel lines and operated by a sleeved throttle cable. The resulting high octane air/fuel mixture makes its way from a polished aluminum intake to shaved and polished heads that are topped with a slick pair of custom valve covers. Once that air/fuel mixture hits the cylinders, a Mallory Unilite distributor sends fire to hidden plug wires which spark in perfect time with a custom camshaft. And when that air/fuel mixture is compressed, spent gases exit through custom, long tube headers which perfectly complement the block’s power. Cooling for the big engine is provided by a giant radiator that’s equipped with both a large electric puller fan. Charging comes courtesy of a heavy duty alternator, and a heavy duty water pump, which is spun by an aesthetically pleasing serpentine system. And the car’s engine compartment is exceptionally stunning featuring a black firewall behind smoothed black fenders, and details such as billet black hood hinges, a black breather, which add icing to the big block cake.

At the bottom of the car, power from the clean 502 runs through a slick shifting Richmond 5-speed manual transmission to a heavy duty rear end. Holding that hardware off the ground is a coil over front and subframe connectors link the front end to a traditional leaf spring rear that’s been outfitted with Competition Engineering Slide-A-Link traction bars and even the leaf springs wear a mirror-like coat of black paint. It retains correct power steering and Braking is provided by a four wheel Wilwood system that included drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners, and exhaust flows from the coated long tube headers into a large welded aluminized pipes that are connected to aggressive sounding dual chamber mufflers. The cars solid floorpans are clean and freshly restored in GM satin black and small touches like a new stainless fuel tank, braided fuel lines, stainless hardware give it a detailed and show ready appearance.

Inside the car, you’ll find a fresh black houndstooth interior that features rich black buckets and an optional Z87 deluxe interior package which adds black molded door panels, incredible custom installed carbon fiber speed gauges , along with a carbon fibre steering wheel,custom center console w/carbon highlights and bright pedal trim to elevate the cockpit to a whole new level.
