    This is a Rare Opportunity on a good looking and nicely optioned Muscle Car. With only 1,997 XR7 Convertibles produced in 1970, this one is rare and best of all it was ordered in Candy Apple Red. With the Ginger interior and option package this car is likely a '1 of 1' production.

    This is a beautiful Muscle Car that presents well. The paint has a nice shine and a good luster. The body on this Cougar is straight and overall solid. The paint is older and showing its age. It looks good but on close inspection there are many imperfections. The floors have had prior repairs and are solid. The trunk pan is in exceptional condition with the factory paint still in excellent condition. The trim and bright work are in good condition with surprisingly little of the patina you would expect of a 44 year old.

    The Power Top works properly and fits tight. The upholstery is in good overall condition and has a glass rear window.

    Inside the interior looks good, surprisingly good for its age. The factory leather seats do have some wear, but again for its age they look good. The carpet at some point had to have been replaced as it is still presentable, though the drivers foot well is worn. The XR7 Gauge Package consisted of a full compliment of gauges complete with Tachometer. They appear to work properly with the exception of the factory clock.

    The 351 Windsor runs excellent and is still dressed in its original air cleaner, valve covers, exhaust manifolds & brackets. The 351 Windsor was a very torque rich engine producing 355 lb/ft at just 2600RPM powering this car very easily. With some recent minor touch ups it presents well. The automatic transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts well.

    The original Power Front Disc Brakes work excellent with nice straight & confident stops every time. The Power Steering makes this car easy to drive for anyone.
