Up for auction is my 1950 Ford F1 pickup truck. This is a 3-owner Georgia truck. I purchased the truck here in Columbia County, GA… where it has been since 1983.

The original body is in very good condition including the floors and it has a very nice looking and very popular patina on the truck. It has just a small amount of rust and just enough to give it “the look”. The front and rear glass is good and the side glass has various cracks and they have been there for years. The windows do roll up and down just fine. The running boards are nice and solid also. I did not replace the bed even though I originally had intentions to do so. I thought about some wood from an old barn or you could just buy a new wood kit or just a simple piece of treated plywood would suffice. Either way, I decided to leave that up to the next owner.

The engine is the original 226c.i. Ford Flathead 6 cylinder. The truck ran fine when I bought it however it did smoke a little so I decided to completely rebuild the motor and detail under the hood resulting in basically a show quality pickup under the hood and it runs excellent. The rebuild included new rings, rod bearings, and gaskets. The firewall and fender wells were cleaned up and painted and it got a new commercial grade battery, radiator recondition and restore, carburetor rebuild, oil breather restore, and new belt, hoses, wires, nuts and bolts and ect.

The rear U-joint was R&R’ed, new pinion seal, new shocks, and the entire brake system was restored also.

The interior is basically original as you can see in the many pictures. The gauges work and the truck is fun to drive.

This is a great weekend farm/car show pickup that you can drive and enjoy just like it is, or you could go further into a restore with it. It draws a lot of attention everywhere it goes.
