1965 PORSCHE 356SC CABRIOLET

 

Among the most sought after of all the air-cooled Porsche models is the 356SC Cabriolet. It was described in period as a luxury sports car and is valued today for its iconic styling and superb build quality. They are very costly to restore as the body structure is complex and many suffered from rust.Exotic Classics is very proud to present this stunning 1965 356SC Reutter Cabriolet featured in rare Bali Blue coachwork with Fawn leather interior and matching German canvas convertible top. In accordance with its accompanying Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the car is equipped with optional chrome luggage rack, wood-rim steering wheel, Blue coco floormats, and outside thermometer. This car also has a matching factory removable hardtop and correct Blaupunkt radio.This car comes to us from a major collection and it was cherished by its last owner for almost twenty years. The car is completely restored to the highest standards. The paint, metalwork, undercarriage and brightwork are all to concours standards. The panel gaps are excellent and our high resolution images show the jewel-like details in all the right places. This color combinations shows off the 356 lines to the best effect, and the car will perform as well on tour as it will on a concours lawn. Shipping and Delivery: All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed "Carriers" are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the "Carrier" for an Estimated Time of Arrival to be sure.


Fee and Tax Information:

New York buyers will be charged sales tax and licensing and processed on your behalf. Out of state buyers (including other countries), we will send title and you will be responsible for registration and taxes in your own state or providence. 

A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is due within 24 hours of the auction close. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the close of auction, unless other arrangements were made. Accepted payment methods are bank wire transfers, cashier's checks and money orders. If you wish to obtain financing, please do so ahead of time. We also reserve the right to verify any or all bids to ensure exceptional auction integrity.
