 Description

Here is a true example of a solid Bronco. This 1974 Bronco Explorer is one of the most solid we have seen. After purchasing this Bronco we cutout, removed, and replaced both front floor pans. The floor pans had the only rust we found on the entire Bronco. All the common areas such as: kick panels, tail gate, windshield, inner fenders, hood, bottom of doors, rockers, and inner rockers are rock solid. We bought this Bronco in North Texas. It had been sitting in a barn since 1990, checkout the license plate that was on it when we picked it up. The motor locked up in 1990 and there it sat ever since. After replacing the floor pans, we installed a recently rebuilt 302 V8, and C4 automatic transmission that we had in the shop from another Bronco EFI swap we completed. Motor and transmission are 100%, and run and shift perfectly as expected. We added new belts, electronic ignition, 4 barrell intake and carburator, all new fuel lines, filter, and new fuel tank and sending unit. New brakes and hardware. The power steering and front end is tight and does not float or wander while doing 55MPH down the road. All electrical, gauges, fans, switches, fuel level, oil pressure, work properly. The AC is obviously an older system, but once we replaced one line and charged, it worked properly and blew ice cold. After a few days of driving one of the AC lines began to leak. Please inspect all pictures. This is a super solid, original Bronco with auto, AC, power steering and the sought after Explorer model.
