SHORT DESCRIPTION: For your consideration I have for sale a good looking 1972 Chevelle. It has Super Sport stripes and embems, but was not born as one. It has a strong running 454 cubic inch engine, it has a Turbo 350 automatic transmission, it has a 12 bolt rear-end. The paint is driver quality, it looks good, but is not perfect under a critical eye inspection. The wheels are 17 inch American Racing with Firestone Firehawk tires. The engine does have a mild cam with no knocks or blue smoke. The car is power steering and has drum brakes all around. Gas gauge works as well as most lights and gauge pack mounted under the dash. This is a nice looking car, its just not a new perfect car.

HISTORY: I can't tell you much, my fried in Ohio found the car for me, it was in Indiana.

ENGINE: 454 cubic inch that runs good with no knocks or rattles and no blue smoke. It sounds like it has a mild cam and timing gears not chain. I'm sure its not the original engine, but I think its a real good one. I can not tell you if it has been rebuild, but I think it has.

TRANSMISSION: Its a Turbo 350, thats a 3 speed automatic. It shifts good, the kickdown linkage is not connected, this hurts nothing other than passing gear.

REAR-END: It looks like the original 12 bolt, it is not positive traction. It has no whines or growls and has a good highway gearing.

STEERING: The car is power steering and I think it drives good.

BRAKES: The car is not power brakes and stops like original drum brakes did.

CHROME: New looking bumpers, emblems fine, drip rail molding has some dings.

PAINT: The paint is driver quality, it looks good, it shine good, but it is not perfect. Under a critical eye inspection you will see several specs and tiny defects. I consider the car straight to look down the sides, I have to look hard to see 1 super minor place.

INTERIOR: The black interior is the right color for this car. The headliner looks good, the carpet nice used condition, the front seat nice with no wear, the back seat has about 4 little defects (look at the pictures), I have a dash cap ordered (the one on it now has 4 or 5 small cracks), the door panels OK other than wavy on the bottom. The painted trim has some scuffs!

LIGHTS: Headlights work (one is turned wrong, I will fix it), tail lights work, turn signals work, brake lights work, the interior light is not working. Left front parking light lense is cracked.

GAUGES: The oil, temp and volts are in a pod under the dash, they are old school and work.

WIPERS WORK......SPEEDOMETER WORKS......GAS GAUGE WORKS.

HORN IS NOT WORKING! RADIO NOT WORKING!

NEW GAS TANK AND SENDING UNIT!

GLASS: The side windows roll up and down, the side windows have some marks where the car was sanded, the windshield looks new, but has 1 scratch on the lower passengers side in the very corner.

WEATHER-STRIPPING: Its OK, but not brand new, the quarter window corners look old.

WHEELS AND TIRES: The wheels are American Racing Torque Trust 17 inch. The tires are Firestone, they are the Firehawk series and are 235/45/17 with decent tread.

EXHAUST: Stock manifolds with a good sounding system, it is not new, but good used condition.

I GOT PARKING BRAKE PARTS IN FRIDAY, I WILL FIX IT MONDAY!
