Up for auction is a 1968 dodge charger. This car runs very strong and drives excellent. Everything works except for the clock/tach. The exterior paint is black and still looks good for a driver. The paint is over 20 years old. It will need some lower rear qt panel body work and new paint to be a show car. The D 440 engine has been rebuilt, aluminum edelbrock intake and 4-bbl carb., electronic ignition, new mini-starter, all new components. All new wiring harness from M&H Wiring, {USA} new light wire harness,etc. HP exhaust manifolds with new dual exhaust system. Rebuilt 727 automatic transmission, 8 3/4 rear end. Complete new brake system, lines, etc. Manual brakes on all fours that work excellent. Power steering. Complete new front end, new shocks,sway bars,tranamission lines, etc. Black interior is almost perfect. New head liner, sun visors, front and rear seats, new door panels, new carpet, seals and weather stripping, etc. The dash is very clean with very nice gauges, two after market gauges. new glove box liner, ash tray, no rips, no tears, clean steering wheel. New front windshield with gasket, all other glass is clean and nice. All trim is near perfect with some older trim and stainless. Front bumper looks new, but rear looks to be original and could be replaced to be a show car. The body od the car has its share of small dents and light scrapes here and there. Again. paint is over 20 years old. There is light damage on the front grill and edge of the hood. see pictures. Headlight door work but need some help by hand to close. Blinkers in hood are new and also working. All doors open and close very nice. windows roll up and down with ease. The frames, floors and undercarriage are near perfect with no rust. There is some surface rust in center of trunk pan, only light surface, no holes. All metal on car looks to be original panels, but can't be 100 percent sure. The car is straight. The trunk has the original jack, but no spare. New 15" Magnum wheels with 225-70-15 up front and 275-60-15 rear tires. BFG tires. New Kenwood stereo with remote. New rear speakers and new front dash speakers. There has been lots of monet spent on this car and with a little body work and new paint can be a show car. The entire undercarraige is very clean and nice with no rust. Please ask questions.
