We just purchased this BEAUTIFUL - RARE 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible from the previous 60+ year old Washington State owner and as you can clearly see in the pictures this car was his pride and joy for sure !! I say RARE because only 11,649 Firebird Convertibles were built in 1969 and MUCH FEWER with factory air conditioning !! Thousands of dollars and many hours of work have been spent on this Firebird and boy does it show !! 1969 was the last year for the three year only 1st generation Firebirds and they tell me it is the year to have !! It still retains its correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Pontiac cowl mounted data plate, its correctly mounted - FACTORY  ORIGINAL - Pontiac drivers side door mounted data sticker and it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted Pontiac VIN tag, all of which are shown in  several pictures below. This car is sound and in  WONDERFUL shape and is a NICE - SOLID - DRY - Washington State - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car which NEVER fails to turn heads. This car shows and runs very well. At the heart of this Firebird is a STRONG - Code "YE" - 350 CID - V8 Motor and it is running VERY well indeed. The motor also retains it's ORIGINAL intake  manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL Rochester carb and ORIGINAL air cleaner housing. Sounds AWESOME too with the - "Throaty" - true dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips !! The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - "TH-350" three speed automatic transmission with a correct center console mounted shifter that also functions very well. The odometer reads 32,609 but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though !!
