1969 Ford Econoline Club Wagon

POP UP CAMPER VAN WITH A V8!

This is a NO RESERVE, HIGHEST BIDDER WINS AUCTION for a 1969 Econoline Club Wagon Van with a 302 V8 engine. It's an Automatic, "TEC" Lift top camper with a 6'2" ceiling clearance. The TEC conversion was done directly after assembly line build and the van was sold new this way. (TEC stands for Travel Equipment Company, which was a noted van / camper conversion company from the 1960's and 70's.) Rare and all original with screen windows and striped canvas. We had the bottoms of the front seats redone and located original seat material to do it. It has swing side doors with a very cool automatic step that drops down.

This is a functional Classic Econoline with towing capability. A very stock unaltered van with unlimited potential for vintage RV followers.

Approximately three years ago, I bought this Econoline from a Ford Specialist in Oregon for a restoration project/idea to build a replica Holman Moody team van, but it's always run and driven so well, we never got around to tearing it apart. Instead, we cleaned it up, re-upholstered the bottoms of the front seats, did a major tune-up (oil, filters, carburetor, rotors, plugs, etc), put on new tires and replaced the entire dual-exhaust with a new one. She runs and drives great, lights and electrics work well. When we bought her, she had a keychain that said “Mama” and that's been her name ever since. I would have no hesitation driving this van anywhere. She’s a good solid van and has never let us down.

Cars that are to be registered in another state, or to be exported, are not subject to North Carolina Highway Use Tax.
