This car also features a 12 bolt rear. The engine and transmission perform very well and the car drives, steers, and brakes as it should. Power steering was added to the car and works well. All gauges and lights are working properly. At present time, the wipers and heater blower are not working. Our shop is currently trying to correct the problem. The exterior is finished nicely, with no visible signs of rust or body filler. There a few "dime size" bubbles that follow the rear roof line. They have not broken through, and are nearly invisible. Most people would not notice them unless they were pointed out. Any paintwork that had been done throughout the years appears to have been done well. The weather stripping looks fresh and there is no overspray or sloppy work. The exterior shows very well and is certainly not a candidate for a repaint at this time. The interior shows very well. The correct style black bucket seats are in excellent condition. The dash has no visible cracks. The headliner is tight. The carpet is in very nice condition as well. The underside of the car shows very little surface rust. The vehicle has been undercoated at one time and is very tidy. The engine compartment shows very well also detailed enough for any car show. Overall this vehicle would qualify as a "better than driver" quality. A restored all numbers matching true SS car would certainly break the $75,000.00 mark at any auction.
