If you’ve come this far, you obviously know what you are looking at. The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this stunning, iconic 1956 CONTINENTAL MKII. These cars were among the most exotic and luxurious cars of their day, and were built to compete with the likes of Rolls Royce, Bentley and Cadillac. Hand made and branded exclusively under its own Continental brand name, these cars came with every available option of there day. They featured hand picked BLUEPRINTED engines, A/C, power steering, power windows, an innovative frame design etc.

This car retailed for almost $10,000 in 1956, more than the cost of a Rolls Royce!!! This CONTINENTAL is in wonderful condition. The car was taken to bare metal in 2002, and repainted her original STARFIRE WHITE. The paint remains excellent, the panels straight and the gaps excellent. The interior is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL!!! The original two toned Beige leather seats have been cover with Clear vinyl, thereby stopping the aging process, while still allowing the Patina to be seen. All of the mechanical systems in this car work. The original 312 cid Thunderbird engine has strong compression, good power and doesn’t smoke. The original automatic transmission shifts well, and the car is a pleasure to drive. The car shows 87,675 miles, and we believe this mileage is correct. We have lots of documentation of repairs, including New brakes, A/C, Vacuum systems, shocks etc. the original owners manual and jack is also included with the car. The chrome and all trim is in excellent condition. This car is excellent, and would make a proud addition to any collection.
