Up for auction is a 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS Convertible recreation.  This is a consignment I took on from a friend of mine.  I'm not exactly sure of the history but I did decode the trim tag and it came back as a hardtop.  The car is clearly a convertible, 100%. I'm just making everyone aware of what I found.  The car is a driver quality car but it has all the eyes in the world.  Its painted a candy apple red with white stripes (vinyl).  The car runs extremely well and has lots of power.  It sounds awesome with the new complete flowmaster dual exhaust system. It has a power top that works very well.  The front end has been totally rebuilt with new control arm bushings, swaybar endlinks and shocks.  Also it appears as though it has new shocks and it does have a brand new battery.  The power steering works well as do the power front disc brakes. It has a strong 350 with a turbo 350 transmission.   

The floors and trunk are 100% solid and look great, the frame as well as you can see in the photos.  A few blemishes I would like to mention:  There are a few body flaws, chips bubbling and a ding with paint missing on door (I photographed them but some are hard to see), the shifter pulls down hard when engaging the car into gear (lubrication or adjustment?), and lastly the car seems to jolt a little bit when in reverse, almost like a surge. It still functions perfectly fine I'm just pointing it out. 

The interior is nice and clean.  It has a 60/40 split front bench.  All the windows roll up and down nicely.  The glass is in good shape.  As I mention this car is an excellent driver that isn't a perfect trailer queen but is very respectable.  We also aren't asking show quality prices, this car is VERY affordable and will be a bargain for someone.  It will be sold with a clear Florida title.
