This is a tight and solid Thunderbird Landau Coupe that was only driven occasionally by the elderly owner who had it in his car collection since 2004 but has since passed away and as you can tell it was his pride and joy for sure !! We just purchased this BEAUTY from his estate and brought it to Boise, Idaho. 1982 was the LAST and BEST year for the  8th generation Thunderbirds and the one to have !! This Thunderbird  also comes with it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted - front support mounted Thunderbird data plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted - dash mounted Thunderbird VIN tag,  FACTORY ORIGINAL 1982 Thunderbird owner's manual and the FACTORY  ORIGINAL Thunderbird sales brochure, all of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this car for the last several days as my everyday driver, to and from the office and running errands as needed  and I have to tell you this car runs and drives well !! This Thunderbird has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - 3.8 Liter V6 motor in it which is running well indeed. The motor also still retains its ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds,  ORIGINAL Ford scripted valve covers, ORIGINAL two barrel carb and the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing. Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Four speed overdrive automatic transmission that also functions very well. The COMPLETELY FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "JL" - Fawn Tan cloth and Fawn vinyl and faux wood grain accented Thunderbird Town Landau interior is BEAUTIFUL for being ORIGINAL including NICE ORIGINAL Fawn Tan cloth front bucket seats with dual center folding  armrests and factory headrests, good ORIGINAL Fawn Tan cloth rear bench seat that has some imperfections with center padded armrest, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Fawn Tan Cloth and Fawn vinyl and Faux Wood Grain accented door panels, NICE ORIGINAL Fawn Tan carpeting, VERY NICE Fawn Tan cloth headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL  Fawn Tan cloth  sunvisors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Fawn Tan and faux wood grain accented dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL factory guage clusters, NICE ORIGINAL Thunderbird steering wheel and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Fawn Tan vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! In my opinion your not going to find a much nicer 100% FACTORY ORIGINAL INTERIOR in a 31 year old car than the one that is in this BEAUTY !! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME Polished Aluminum Eagle Alloy wheels wrapped in nearly new whitewall steel belted radial tires !! Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Thunderbird !! This vehicle is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in GREAT condtion for being original. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic Thunderbird Town Landau Two Door Hardtop  worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings on this car are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL color matched front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL chrome grill. This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression.
