VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

This stunning 1951 Chevrolet 3100 has been tastefully restored into a truck that appears to look original inside and out yet has been updated with a modern drivetrain and suspension. The body on the truck is very straight and true with excellent body alignment with all doors and hood having a perfect "fit" to them. The paint looks great with a very nice shine to it and all the chrome appears to be new. The interior of the truck has not been painted and is the original factory paint and looks incredible. It would have been a sin to cover up such nice original paint and it also gives you an idea of how good of shape the truck was in before the build began, this was not a junk yard truck. The seat has been recovered only because the original seat had about a six inch tear on the drivers side and a new black mat was also installed. All the gauges have been rebuilt and work properly and of course air conditioning was added to keep cool and comfortable. The drive train for this truck consist of a chevy 350 V8 topped with an edelbrock intake, holley carb, HEI distributor, and headers. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic with a chevy 10 bolt rear axle. The original front suspension was removed and replaced with an independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering and disc brakes. The truck also sits on a new set of wide white radial tires. This truck drives like a dream out on the road being very tight and smooth with no shakes or rattles and the drive train performs flawlessly, very dependable.. This is an excellent truck through and through and is ready to hit the open road.
