Up for sale we have a 1970 Chevy El Camino SS. When you think of a muscle car you think of something that has a back seat, but Chevy built Chevy had the El Camino that was a muscle car with a bed. From the moment you sit down in the bucket seats and look out the window it feels like a Muscle Car. The one we have for you is done in the Triple Black Paint Scheme with a 512 Block 454. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the El Camino. It has great lines with good gaps on the panels. Everything is covered in the Tuxedo Black Paint that is accented by the White Stripes. It has a slick finish with a deep rich shine. Also, it has the black vinyl top and black bed cover. The bumpers are new as well as other chrome. All the stainless looks good as well as the glass. They installed new weather stripping to ensure a good fit of the doors. The final exterior touch is the factory SS wheels with BF Goodrich White Letter tires.

Next, we will move on to the interior of the ’70. Everything on the inside is done in the classic black. It has the buckets seats and console that are correct for this year. The carpet, seats, and door panels all look like new. When you look at the dash it has round gauges with the factory Tach. It has tilt wheel with a custom grip steering wheel. The radio is one of the factory fit vintage radios. This was a factory AC car, but they upgraded it to Vintage A/C that works better.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood is a 1970 model 454 HP LS5 V8 out of a Chevelle that has the 512 casting number. It’s mated to a 4 Speed Trans and a 12 Bolt Rear End. The engine is dressed with chrome valve covers and breather. The exhaust runs through a set of Headers and Flow Master Exhaust. To keep it cool on long hot days it has the 4 core radiator. The brakes are Power with Disc on the Front and it has Power Steering Also. When you look under it all the floor and frame looks good with no signs of damage.
