As seen in the pictures down below this nice looking 2001 Mercedes SLK230 V4 Kompressor Hard Top Convertible Automatic has light damage to the left rear side. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. Normally such vehicles are salvaged by the insurance companies but this nice looking benz was not salvaged and comes with a CLEAN TITLE! We have the title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner.  Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. It was not a direct rear hit and looks like the rear bumper was hand removed by the insurance adjuster/shop. Trim panels inside the trunk were also hand removed and will be included in the trunk (see last pic). The car will come with the rear bumper cover as seen in the photos. There are some light sctrathces on the roof, small dent on the hood, etc. (see pics below). No mechanical damage observed and engine runs great! All airbags are ok. All glass ok. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot and on a side street.  Interior is clean and in good condition as seen in the pictures down below. Power convertible top opens/closes fine with the push of a button. Overall it should be a straight forward easy fixer with very light body work on the left rear side and minimal parts. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, all airbags ok and the car lot runs/drives. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES

We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
