1997 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8 T-Bird Many Mods!

Aftermarket Parts, Modifications, Winter Rim & Tire Set

Description

Up for sale is my 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8 that has been my daily driver for many years!

·         Mileage: 131,172

·         Clean car, non-smoker

·         Clean title and CARFAX

·         No issues with the engine or transmission.

·         All features function, such as AC, heat, headlights, power windows and doors, etc.

 

I have another car as a daily driver so the time has come to let go of this T-Bird.  This T-Bird would make a great project car or a parts car.  I am an honest person so here are the areas that need to be address/repaired:

·         Antenna motor does not work.  It is in the up position so the radio works.

·         Catalytic converter is the original and need to be replaced (DTC codes are thrown due to the old cat).  The original exhaust is still holding up!

·         Dents and scratches from daily wear and past vandalism.

·         Engine oil pan gasket needs to be replaced.

·         Front end needs a rebuild - upper and lower ball joints, bushings, etc., need to be replaced.

·         Front windshield has a crack running through it.

·         Rotors, brake pads, and brake lines need to be replaced.  Brake fluid is leaking out of a rusted brake line.

·         Rust holes in the body panels, doors, underside rust etc., need to be repaired.

·         Tachometer does not function.

 

Options

·         T-Bird has all factory options except for the following:

o   No leather interior and no traction control/ABS

o   Air filter needs to be replaced

·         Superchips 1714 Max Micro Tunner

o   Allows you to select from various tunes and to read and clear DTCs.

·         Ford Racing Differential 8.8 Rebuild Kit - 3.27 Rear End Gear Ratio

 

Suspension

·         Tokico Shocks & Lowering Springs

·         MN 12 Front Suspension High Performance Polyurethane Bushing Kit

·         MN 12 Performance Rear Spindle/Knuckle High Performance Polyurethane Bushing Kit

·         MN 12 Performance Rear Poly Shock Mount Kit - for non-ARC shocks

·         Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/60 ZR16 98W

o   Summer Set mounted on T-Bird Sport Rims

o   Multiple seasons left on the summer tires

·         Michelin Pilot Alpin 225/60 R16 98H

o   Winter Set mounted on Super Coupe Rims with Tire Rack storage bags

o   At least one or two seasons left on the winter tires

·         Overall both wheel sets are in good condition for their age.

·         Alpine CDA- 9886 With Remote & iPod Adapter

·         Polk Audio DB571 Speakers

·         Code Alarm With Remote Start, Trunk Release, and Panic Feature
