Bentley unveiled the all new Mulsanne for 1980 after a long 16 year run of the previous T-Series. The Mulsanne was the rarer version of the Silver Spur and featured many new upgrades in the way of technology, electronics, engine management systems and all around comfort. The familiar and venerable 6.75 litre V8 engine was placed in the new model matted to the GM sourced THM 3-speed and the companies completely revised self leveling hydraulic rear suspension. The two new cars marked a very important time for Rolls Royce/Bentley, they were to be the platforms of the new models that would come for the next two decades. Bentley tried to set themselves apart in the late 80’s by introducing the Turbo R Saloon; a high performance luxury sedan on the same chassis as the Silver Spur/Mulsanne. The Mulsanne was sold next to the Turbo R Saloon until 1992 when the Brooklands was introduced as a redesigned Mulsanne. The Brooklands Saloon carried the tried and true 6.75 litre V8 engine pushing 300 hp matted to the new 4-speed automatic transmission. The Brooklands sold incredibly well until model year 1998 when the Arnage was introduced.    

European Motor Studio is proud to offer this beautiful 1996 Bentley Brooklands Saloon finished in a gorgeous Masons Black over Costwald hides with contrasting Magnolia piping and dash top. This Brooklands Saloon left the Crewe production line in August of 1995 and was invoiced to Bentley North America where it came in through the Long Beach port on September 20^th 1995 and sent to Bentley in San Francisco. The car sold to its first owner in October of 1995 where it lived in San Francisco until 2000 when the first owner moved the car to Palm Springs. The second owner purchased the car and brought the car to San Diego where he religiously maintained the car at Symbolic Motor Company for any of the cars service needs. The third and final owner bought the car in 2011 and brought the car to Ohio where it was used as a secondary car. This Bentley Brooklands is finished in Masons Black and has a beautiful paint finish. There are no signs of any prior damage and the paint still retains a beautiful deep luster. There are no scratches, dents or dings in the body or paint and only has a few small stone chips in the front end. The Costwald and Magnolia hides are in beautiful condition and still very soft and supple. The drivers seat does show very light wear but free from any scrapes or fading. The beautiful Costwald leather headliner is still in excellent condition. The Masons Black carpets are in exceptional unmarked condition as well as the floor mats. All of the wood is in excellent condition and only a few small hairline cracks on the lower portion of the center console around the shifter and mirror controls (the passenger door wood capping has some cracking and a couple of spots peeling back) but the rest of the door cappings are in excellent unmarked condition. All of the switchgear, trim and chrome are in excellent condition showing very little wear and are all in working order. The electric windows, locks, mirrors, electric seats, heated seats, electric tilt steering wheel, 6-disc CD changer, power antenna, AC and heater are all in working order. All of the lights are working including the interior lights, exterior brake lights, headlights, reverse lights, side marker lights, turn signals and taillights. The car starts right up and idles beautifully without any hesitation or smoking. The car shifts into gear with ease and accelerates very smoothly. The beautiful 6.75 litre engine pulls very strong and changes through all of the gears with ease. The suspension is nice very smooth and tight free from any noises shakes. The steering feels very solid and precise and does not wander or shake. The brakes are very solid and show no signs of fade or grinding. This Brooklands is in excellent mechanical condition free from any warning lights or messages on the dashboard. The car has the upgraded Mulliner chrome wheels which are in excellent condition and give a beautiful aggressive look to the car(some very slight pitting in the chrome). The tires show about 60% tread life left and the brakes show about 50% life. This is an excellent well maintained nicely documented 1996 Bentley Brooklands that has traveled only 63,090 miles from new and comes with a clean carfax report. The car shows absolutely no signs of damage or accident history anywhere on the car and has absolutely no rust or corrosion. The Brooklands comes with its original owners manual, service book, dealer book and radio book along with its original Bentley key and remote fob. Also included is the original jack, jack tools, orange triangle and Bentley tool kit. A clean and clear AZ title with Box A (actual miles) will come with the car.
