PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASE

Payment for your purchase can be made by: Cash (in person), Certified check, Postal money order or Bank Wire Transfer. Payment in full must be received within 3 business days from the closing date of the auction or “Buy it Now”. Taxes, Tags & Fees

If the vehicle is being registered in Florida we are required to collect & process your taxes, tag and title work at the DMV. Please call for final out the door numbers.

If being shipped by a licensed shipper, a Bill of Laden is issued and no temporary tag issued.  No sales tax will be collected by Ashlyn Motors. Buyer would be responsible for paying all applicable sales tax & tag when they register it in their home state.

If you are planning on picking up the vehicle yourself or have someone pick it up for you, Some states require us to collect sales tax. Don’t worry you won’t have to pay tax twice. You will get a notarized out of state sales tax affidavit showing how much tax we collected and your home state will apply this tax credit when you register it. Please be advised if your state taxes are more than we collected you may have to pay the difference.  If you are planning to fly in and drive home, Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest major airport approximately 20 miles North from Ashlyn Motors.  

All sales will have a $125.00 documentary fee and no charge for 30 day temporary license plate. A $500.00 non-refundable good faith deposit is required within 24 hours and immediately on buy it now items.

FINANCING YOUR VEHICLE

We recommend that you wait to bid until you have FINAL approved financing available to you. We will gladly fax or email your bank a copy of the bill of sale, vehicle options report, front & back of clear title or any other documents your bank is requiring. Sorry we DO NOT offer financing or accept Road Loans pre-approved vouchers at this time. Your winning bid is a legal contract to purchase so please have all your finances set up prior to bidding.

TITLE INFORMATION

While we usually have 99% of our vehicles titles in our possession at closing and sign over to our customers, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. In the State of Florida, most titles to vehicles are held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In some cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments from the time the vehicle is paid off and forwarded to us. If this is the case the title will be forwarded to the buyer as soon as we have it in our possession. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We are a licensed and bonded dealer in the state of Florida and guarantee a clean title on all our vehicles.

CAN YOU ARRANGE SHIPPING FOR ME?

Yes, we have access to a number of qualified transporters that we work with on a regular basis who can ship anywhere in the United States and abroad. We are happy to help arrange delivery with one of these shippers. All vehicles shipped from Ashlyn Motors are transported (not driven) by licensed and insured transport companies. We have successfully shipped over 450 vehicles and will handle the process of shipping from pick up to delivery to insure your new vehicle arrives in a timely manner.  Of course you are free to use a transporter of your choice but please understand you will be responsible for all arrangements.
