PRIMARY RESTORATION OBJECTIVE…was to have a very reliable classic to drive for sheer pleasure and to be a winner at shows.  Reliable and pleasurable touring was an absolute must, and was solidly achieved.  Overall, this is the ideal high-end “Drive & Show” car.  Restored to a high standard…but not over-restored to the point of no longer being enjoyed as an automobile. INVESTMENT POTENTIAL...on this beautiful 1958 Impala is of the “Blue Chip” variety.  No decade expressed American optimism and glamour better than the 1950s.  1958 is a particularly significant year because it is the final year that legendary styling leader Harley Earl was in total control.  As nearly everyone knows, the 1958 Chevrolet has been the real “gainer” in value among all 1950s Chevrolets.  The 1957 – for decades considered the “darling” of all ‘50s Chevys – is now increasingly sharing the value spotlight with its 1958 cousin!
