Hello and thanks for clicking on my low mileage 1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL!

This great automobile is 28 years old, garage kept, one owner and has very low ORIGINAL miles! It has been owned since new by a prominent and very substantial family that I am not at liberty to name here but whos name I will reveal to the new owner. It has been used sparingly for the last 20 years as an occasional car at the family weekend estate nearby. It remains in very good condition.

The 560 SEL was the big Mercedes for 1986. It was the top of the line and cost over $53,000 new. That's in 1986 dollars! It has advanced engineering for its time and is perfectly capable of keeping up with modern traffic. It has classic Mercedes Benz styling and class. This car performs beautifully with its 5.6 liter, fuel injected engine, 4 speed automatic transmission and 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS. It starts immediately, idles smoothly, drives well, tracks straight, rides like a dream and stops straight with no drama whatsoever. It makes no smoke, no funny noises and doesn't appear to be leaking any fluids. It has a current Virginia Inspection sticker on the windshield and is, in short, 100% ready to drive & enjoy. Fly in and drive home!

She is very well equiped with full power accessories, heated seats (front & rear), sunroof, airbag, cruise control, power telescoping steering wheel, power reclining rear seats, power/memory seats, headlight washers/wipers, lighted vanities and a car phone that you can donate to the Smithsonian Institution if you wish.

The interior is in great condition with supple leather seats & real wood accents. This is a non-smoker car that retains all the original books & tags that came with it and the factory first aid kit is still with the car as well. All the accessories seem to be in working order with the exception of the Becker AM/FM/Cassette.

Outside we have what appears to be factory applied paint with hand painted pinstripes. The paint has the light wear, chips, etc. that you would expect on a 28 year old car. Chrome, stainless & glass are all in good condition, as are the alloy wheels with a very good set of radial tires. On the passenger side I find two small spots of paint bubbling over surface rust. These should be very easy to repair as there is no rust through (please see detail photos).

Underhood is clean & neat with everything in its place. The air conditioning system has just been converted to the new refrigerant and is cold. 

Everything underneath is 100% solid and sound. The doors shut with the bank vault sound & feel that Mercedes is famous for. There are no rattles or squeaks and the car is very quiet at speed.

I've got this wonderful car priced well under its book value so do not miss this opportunity to own a big boy Mercedes Benz automobile for a great price!
