This car was built at theFremont,CaliforniaAssembly Plant on 11/26/1966 and was shipped to Boas Pontiac, inSan Francisco, where it spent the majority of the next forty-five years in theSan Franciscoarea.  The car has received one recent repaint in the correct Regimental Red and the Black convertible top has been replaced.  However, the interior is original to the car and in pristine condition, with no cuts nor wear.

The factory equipment on this GTO includes: AM Radio, Remote Control Mirror, Rally Gauge Cluster and Tach, Console, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Tinted Glass, Factory Air Conditioning, F70x14 Firestone Red Line Tires on Rally II Wheels, Safe-T-Track Axle and Turbo Hydra-Matic Transmission, with the factory Hurst Dual-Gate Shifter.

The original 400 (YS code) engine and all associated parts were completely rebuilt several years ago.  The engine and the entire car runs and drives perfectly.  The underside of the car is rock solid, as you would expect aCaliforniacar to be, with all the original body panels still in place.
