For sale: 1991 300zx Twin Turbo coupe, Red with gray leather, T-Tops, A/C, 42,800 original miles. 3rd owner; VIN JN1CZ24H0MX501226. 100% rust free car.
In 2010 I searched the entire country for a low mile original red TT with leather seats. I found a car in North Carolina. Car was purchased new in Texas in 1991, then sold to a gentleman in NC in 2005. I’m the third owner and when I purchased the car it still had the original rear tires on it! When purchased the car it had 31,544 miles; I have put about 11k miles on it. First thing I did before completing the sale was I took it to the local Nissan dealer and had a full inspection + compression test on all cylinders (passed with flying colors). Reason for selling – I have 2 kids and rarely have time to drive the car. It only comes out during warm weather and never during rain, snow, etc. I have always stored this in my garage.

Car is on the original paint, minus a few minor touch up spots and I believe the driver’s side door was repainted years ago. I have not had any paint work or bodywork repairs since I’ve had it. What I have done is completely maintained the car with no expense spared, and have put at least $10k into tasteful upgrades. A/C blows ice cold and car needs nothing.
Luckily I live in Ohio, and there are two Z “experts” that live near Wilmington and Cincinnati. The first is Tim Davis, who has maintained my car for the last 4 years. Tim is well known as the “Z whisperer” and has been working exclusively on Z cars since at least 1996. The other is “Ramey-Z” aka Brett Ramey, who has a shop for the larger repairs (timing belt, clutch, etc) and works directly with Tim.
