The paint and body on this rig look original. It doesn't have any obvious damage, the history reports don't show and accidents, the paint all matches, and it hasn't spent its whole life on dirt roads like so many of these. It's a Colorado truck and hasn't seen road salt. It came in with factory wheels and tires thin on tread. We had a line into a set of 6" front lift leaf springs and completed the lift with rear blocks, u-bolts, adjusted the rear shock perches, reset the track bar and had it aligned. The wheels are in fair shape, not perfect, tires about the same but they're fine to drive on for a while yet. I believe this lift will accomodate 37" tires if that's of note to you, it has a good rake.

The truck has a few flaws, mainly scratched spots at the right rear rockers. It has a couple other light marks that I believe we can buff out, left rear door, and tailgate. It's an 11 year old truck and not perfect, but it does look like the photos, and stands so tall, you kind of look past the few little dings at the back easily. We can have these painted and repaired if you want that perfect truck look. I can't find much else to complain about, glass, trim, front end, all really nice.

The cabin is in great shape and it doesn't smell like smoke. The leather in these tire in dry climates like ours, so it's hard to find older Excursions that haven't seen moisture and have nice upholstery, so the cloth is a good choice here. There's no stains in the carpet, we have the factory mats which all look ok, it's always had mats in it. The rear velcro on the 2nd row seating is worn out but could have new stuff stitched in easily. The dash, doors, headliner, trunk, upholstery, etc, all just super nice. It wasn't a kid hauler, we didn't clean much out of it really at all. Everything works, air, stereo, keyless, locks, all in good order.

I've put about 100 miles on this vehicle and just love it, definitely catches a few eyes, and it's easy to get about in. I'm used to driving lifted trucks and I don't find that it wanders a lot. The tires are a bit agressive, but not terribly noisy on the highway. The've been rotated regularly. The truck fires right up every morning and doesn't smoke or sputter at all. The glow plug light goes off faster than pretty well any 6.0 I've driven (100s), I'm not sure if that's worth anything, but it fires very easy.

There's no wet leaks at all, just a few little normal crusties. The brake pad life is about 50% all the way around, belt and hoses look good, oil and filter look new and so does trans fluid. It doesn't have any drivability issues that I can come up with, 4x4 works as it should, tranny shifts really smooth, plenty of power, but I don't think it's been tuned. Someone loved it, we even noticed they wrapped the exhaust/cat by the oil pan gasket that tends to leak on these from the heat. Someone knew what they were doing here. You will dig this truck.
