    Terms of Sale

    The following terms of sale apply to all of our eBay Motors auctions.

     

    Payment Methods
    Cash in Person, certified check or Bank wire transfer. We can accept major credit cards for the deposit or down payment for a maximum of $3000.00 All funds must be in US dollars only. Call us at 404-503-3107, for more information. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. We do have excellent financing terms available and will be happy to process a pre-approval application for you prior to bidding.

     

    Deposit
    The successful high bidder must submit a $1000 deposit within 2 business days (48 hours) of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. We will accept Major Credit Cards for up to $3000.

     

    Payment of Balance Due
    The remaining balance due plus applicable fees and taxes will be paid within 5 days of the close of the auction. All dealer fees are included in final sale price. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. No trade-ins accepted unless agreed to prior to the auction ending.

     

    Additional Fees and Taxes
    Georgia residents must pay applicable sales tax. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. Check with your local Motor Vehicle registration office for fees and requirements in your state.

     

    Shipping
    The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. Cost and arrangements for delivery/shipment of vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. You can try www.movecars.com. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

     

    Buyer's Inspection
    Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. Billy Howell Ford L/Mhas tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. We welcome and recommend a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees. If you do have a paid inspection done and are the winning bidder on the vehicle we will reimberse you for up to $75 after vehicle transaction is completed.

     

    Warranty
    This vehicle is being sold "as is". No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Manufacturer's warranties may still apply. Extended warranties may be available at a reasonable cost on qualified vehicles for up to 6 years / 100,000 miles; please contact us for details.

     

    Non-Paying Bidder
    If the deposit is not received within 2 business days business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 days days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.

    Notice to Bidders: This vehicle is advertised and may sell locally. By placing a bid the bidder agrees that seller reserves the right to end this auction early but will not sell locally or end auction if vehicle has met reserve.

    Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 24 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.

    About Us

    Billy Howell Ford Lincoln Mercury, Inc. was founded in September, 1977. It was purchased by Billy Howell from Roy P. Otwell who was one of the first Ford dealerships in the area back in 1910. The Dealership moved to it’s current location in 1988 into a facility of approximately 39,000 square feet on six acres of land. Since the beginning, this dealership has been family owned and operated. Billy Howell was employed by Ford Motor Company for eighteen years prior to buying the dealership. He resides in Cumming, GA. He has served on the Used Car Licensing Board of Georgia, the Ford Dealer Advertising Board, The Ford Consumer Appeals Board, the Georgia Automobile Dealers Board, the AUTOCAP Board, and the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce

    Bill Howell Vice President & General Manager, his son, has been a resident of Cumming, GA since 1988 and served on the Board of Directors for Georgia Automobile Dealers Association, Director of the United Way Campaign, member of the Rotary Club, member and past Chairman of the Board of Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, on the Ford National Dealer Council, on Ford National Product Advisory Committee (1 of 8 in country), member of the Good Shepard Church Finance Committee, and past board member of Angel Flight southeast.

    The family oriented atmosphere has fostered unusually long tenure for the average employee. We provide a familiar face whenever you visit. For example, the sales and service managers have been here for 15 to 20 years, and several of the sales representatives and service technicians have been here for fifteen years or more. All sales representatives are blue oval certified. All service technicians are required to be certified by Ford Motor Company on all new vehicles and improvements and changes to existing vehicles.
