1977 MG MGB CONVERTIBLE *BARN FIND* ALL ORIGINAL LOW MILES!





This 1977 MG MGB roadster convertible is a true time capsule. It is a classic 'barn find' found stored in upstate NY since 1992. 

 The 4 cylinder in line push rod ohv 1799cc engine starts right up and runs strong with only 55,000 original miles! After being saved from storage...the tank was drained and filled with fresh gas...the carburetor cleaned and tuned...oil and fluids checked and changed.

4 speed all synchro manual transmission and original shifter ...Shifts very smooth.

The body is in great original condition...very straight and unmolested. Original chartreuse yellow paint and MGB racing stripes...shines bright with no rust at all!...very solid floors, fenders and trunk.  Normal dings and scratches.  Convertible top is in great shape except for a few small tears...1 of which was amaturely patched. The inside trunk is solid with little surface rust and looks to have been repainted.  Has a 5th wire wheel with a new spare. Small crease in the usual spot where the trunk is held open.

The convenient luggage rack on the trunk is intact and rust free.

The interior is also original..good condition for its age...the door panels are very clean...the carpet looks almost new.  The seats have a few tears but are not bad for its age...fine as is or seat covers would be an easy fix. All glass is there and has no damage.  The dash is complete and in good shape with all lights and signals working...top dash has some cracks and tears.  Aftermarket Pioneer custom-fit stereo AM/FM cassette installed but not hooked up.

Because of its age and how long it was stored unused i would suggest a full tune up..new battery..full carb cleaning or rebuilding..refresh or replace fuel pump(as it can be a little quirky)..etc.
