This '62 Galaxie was Ford's choice to compete in the NHRA A/FX class. This car was the production / homologation version of Ford's first all out effort in the Super Stock Wars.

The Factory Production specifically this one is powered by the famous and highly sought after 406ci which produces 405hp and 448ft/lbs of torque with 11.4:1 compression, solid lifter camshaft, factory cast iron long tube headers and 3 Holley 2-barrel carburetors.

A Borg-Warner T-10 close ratio 4-speed transmission and 9" Ford Traction-Lok rear end with factory 4.11 gears. (gears have been changed to a more tame streetable 3.50s.
Finished in Correct Corinthian White over

the Red Crush vinyl interior.

Correct factory original 15" steel wheels with Dog Dish caps.

This car is believed to have original miles on chassis and the engine has been rebuilt as to freshen it.

This car is increasingly rising in value and extremely sought after among true collectors and investors.

Very few flaws on an authentic restoration

performed quite some time ago.

The Galaxie drives incredibly well and performs as it should.

Very clean throughout with all original body panels

with correct factory stampings.

Straight rust free body with good chrome and stainless trim

Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
