You have found a great buy on a very desirable and very cool Camaro SS. As you know, this is the last year for the Camaro in this body stye and the last Camaro before Chevrolet took an eight year break from building Camaros. This is towards the top end of the spectrum, the only thing better available would be the commemorative edition or a convertible with leather (if that's your thing), this car had every option when delivered aside from leather PLUS a nice list of 'SLP' options that most top-line SS cars did not get. This one has the 345HP dual stainless exhaust, the SS grille, SS floor mats, custom rear deck mat (not with the car) and the chromed ZR1 alloy wheels.

This car is very nice with just under 165000 miles, it is not perfect but is very clean, very strong and very sound given it's age and mileage (below industry average at 11750 miles per year). The car shows a few signs of wear, some wear on the driver's seat bolster, some wear and a cut in the leather on the steering wheel, a few stone chips and blemishes on the nose and grill and a couple of small not overly noticeable door dings in the rear quarters (no paint damage, easy paintless dent repair) but no major scratches, dings or dents anywhere on the car, it really looks nice. Tires are a matching set of four and have over 50% tread life remaining with absolutely no uneven wear. Chromes ZR1 alloys are all intact and look great as well, they also have all four chrome center-caps. Glass is excellent, no cracks or stars in the shield, sides and rear are tinted. All lights and lenses are intact and in good working order including the fog lamps.

This car was never owned by a smoker, it smells fresh and clean inside with no tobacco or foul odors. Carpets, headliner and door panels are all in great shape, the only items that show wear which are easily expected on a car with half the miles are the armrest which is still there, it just does not hold up the weight as well when you lean hard on it, the dash above the gauges has a split in it (I have added a carpeted dash cover to conceal that, it looks great and will protect the rest of the dash which is in great shape), the driver's seat bolster has some wear but other than that, everything looks very nice and is clean.

Functionally, everything is a go on the car. All power windows and door locks work, power seat, power hatch release, gauges etc. are all in good working order. There is an ABS inop light that comes on which also throws the 'brake' light as well as the 'ars' light but does not hamper the performance of the car. The car has a very high end Eclipse AM/FM/CD deck with SIRIUS satellite radio that is all hooked up and working but the previous owner took his amplifier in the back so you can add whatever sound of your choice to get some tunes going (I can also assist with getting that done for you), it also has a nice top-line Optima battery so it will handle a larger amplifier if that's your thing. The A/C blows freezing cold, the cruise control is operational and the car is an absolute thrill to drive.

The car is most impressive in how it runs, engine is very strong, transmission shifts with no grinding, clutch feels great and the drivetrain is all tight and balanced, you would never guess the car had higher miles by just driving it. I have attached several photos of the undercarriage, it is amazing how nice it is, all factory tags and chalk markings are in place, there is no rust (untreated metal will turn brown, that is not 'rust') and it is probably cleaner than any 30k mile plus car you will find anywhere, Arizona and south west cars are the best around.

You will likely not find another true SS with no rust, in this kind of condition with these extra SLP options for this cheap of a price again, KBB says it's worth $7839 even AFTER deductiong for the miles and I'm seeing regular base model, crank window V6 Camaro's with these miles selling online for between $3-4000 so I don't think this corrosion free T-Top, 6 speed 35th Anniversary SLP SS in this shape will hang around long for $6900 but feel free to make me an offer, I know we all want a deal and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
