The 6-speed manual transmission is also upgraded with a lightweight dual-mass flywheel, and the limited slip rear end has been upgraded to 3.90 gearing. The car rolls on lightweight 18" Dinan wheels and a Dinan Stage 2 Suspension upgrade includes improved springs and larger sway bars. All said and done, this Z8 now develops 470hp/491lb-ft or torque and will pull .93g on the skidpad and touch a 170mph top speed.

Taking design cues from BMW's renowned 507 of the 1950's, the Z8 is instantly recognizable for its unique aesthetics. The Titanium Silver Metallic paint is accentuated by the 507-inspired horizontal front grille & side vents, black head lamp housing and a black power-operated soft top. Inside the cabin, this Z8 showcases soft-grain leather upholstery, heated sport seats, auto-dimming mirrors, unique center-mounted instrumentation, Harman/Kardon sound system and an upgraded Kenwood audio receiver with GPS navigation, iPod integration, HD radio and satellite radio.
