As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2005 Mazda RX8 with CLEAN TITLE has no major exterior damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. We usually buy-sell salvage physically damaged vehicles on ebay (See our feedback and other listings at our ebay store) but this vehicle was picked up with no major exterior damage and comes with a Clean Title. It was sold as bank reposession vehicle. Exterior has all over light body scratches as seen in close up pics. Interior is fully in tact with no damage. The car starts but does not stay running for long and stalls as the rmp fluctuates, smokes, and dies out. We were able to keep it running for several minutes at one point and were able to move it around our lot hence the tranny is definitely good. This vehicle has a rotary engine and from previous experience with other RX8's they become very difficult to start as they sit for long periods of time which is the case with such insurance vehicles. A simple search on google will lead to many blogs and discussions about known start-engine issues with RX8's, diagnosis and repairing such issues. Whatever might be the issue we do not have such vehicles diagnosed and leave it up to the buyer to deal with all issues. All we know is that the car was sold as a bank repo vehicle. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES

We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
