For 1999, Ferrari introduced a limited production of F355 Spider models designated, "Serie Fiorano." Launched in March, 1999, this limited production run of 100 planned units included a number of performance enhancements such as Competizione-derived Fiorano suspension pack, featuring wide track, stiffer springs, a thicker anti-roll bar, Drilled and ventilated brake discs and competition brake pads, Competizione-sourced steering rack, Alterations to the computer mapping providing more power and torque, Challenge rear grilles and enameled Scuderia Ferrari shields and Carbon-fiber inserts on the center console, door sills and shifters.
Number 34 of the 100 Serie Fiorano units delivered to the U.S. market, here is one of 26 units produced with a 6-speed traditional gated manual transmission. "Triple Black" as ordered, this clean Spider has driven only 23,600 miles and shows very well for its age. Largely original throughout, the Ferrari is accompanied by all of its original accessories, including books, tools, key sets, boot and car cover. The car is an absolute blast to drive and sounds like no other 355, thanks to its Tubi headers, Hyper-Flow cats and Capristo pipes - a near $20,000 investment just for the exhaust system. The last major service was performed in 2011. Additionally, 7 years of meticulous servicing records from the previous owner comes with the vehicle. The F355, particularly the Serie Fiorano are projected to be one of the few "future classics" of the 1990's, and here is a great low mileage and lovingly maintained example to invest in.
