• Iconic 1961 Bubble Top Impala! • Older Restoration! • Beautiful White Paint with Red/White Interior! • Big Block 409ci V8 with Tri Power! • 200R4 Automatic Transmission! • Same Owner Past 9 Years!
MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer this stunning 1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top with an “oh so fine” Big Block Chevy 409 and Tri-Power! The hardtop Impala from 1959 until 1962 featured a thin rear roof pillar and an oversized rear window and was affectionately referred to as the “Bubble Top.” The 1961 Impala Bubble Top may very well be the most iconic and well known of the Bubble Tops.
This handsome Bubble Top is finished in the correct color of Ermine White with a red cove and lots of chrome. The paint is in beautiful condition, showing very minimal imperfections. The paint hugs a laser straight body. The chrome bumpers still retain a brilliant luster and shine bright with only minor imperfections. The stainless is in comparable condition. Overall, this Impala is in extremely clean, show quality condition!
Inside, the Impala is finished in a dazzling red and white combination. The bench seats are upholstered with white vinyl with red cloth inserts and red piping that look absolutely striking! Both the front and rear seat show minimal imperfections, if any at all. The door panels are finished in a red and gray combination and look awesome. The red carpet is in excellent condition and shows no signs of wear or tear, same goes for the headliner. The dashboard is color matched to the cove and looks excellent. The dash houses a set of original gauges and an AM radio. The interior looks just as wonderful as the exterior of the car!
Under the hood, you will find an exceptionally clean and tidy engine bay. The Impala is powered by a massive and highly sought after Big Block 409 cubic inch, Tri Power V8. This particular engine was professionally rebuilt in 2009 and has only travelled about 2,500 miles since the rebuild. This car sounds awesome and drives as great as it sounds! Mated to the engine is a 200R4 automatic transmission. It is equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes. The car sits aggressively upon a set of brand new15” polished and gunmetal 5-spoke Vision Legend Series wheels wrapped in P215/65R15 tires that really set off the entire look of the car.
This 1961 Chevrolet Impala is an excellent example of the fine craftsmanship that came out of General Motors back in the early 1960s and would fit in perfectly with any classic car collector’s collection. The VIN is 11837S189593 and the mileage currently shows 89,027. It is being sold on a clean and clear, mileage exempt Kansas title. *Be sure to see our other auctions for an equally stunning 1960 Bubble Top!* GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
