For sale is this beautiful 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo (930). I am selling this car on behalf of the estate of a customer. The gentleman that owned the car had been bringing it to the shop I used to manage, then brought it to me after I had left there. He passed away shortly after I received the car for service. I have now had the car for almost 2 1/2 years. After much time of going through probate court, and naming an heir, etc. the vehicle is now ready to be sold. It has a clear title in the name of the estate and transfer will be trouble free. All of the original manuals and service records are included. The most important thing to know is that the late owner did not have a garage. It had a cover at one time, but that went away at some point. It has spent the better part of the last 3 years sitting outside exposed to the elements. The other thing to keep in mind is that the estate would only permit me to perform repairs up to a point. There are a few small details that the new owner will want to attend to.

Exterior Condition:
As far as I can determine, this car is all original paint. That being said, I'm no body man or painter. There are no signs of any rust or accident repair at anytime in the car's life. The paint looks great as can be seen in the photos. Because of the long exterior exposure, it is the most telling on the rubber parts. While the rubber bellows are fine, the exposed rubber portion of the whaletail spoiler and the "smile" rubber strip above the front bumper are deteriorating. The smile is the worst of it and really should be replaced. The whaletail and bumper guards are transitioning from the smooth, shiny textured rubber when new, to the less shiny look and the rubber is starting to look more porous. That's the best way I know to explain it. The trim in the rear windshield gasket has shrunk and has a gap at the top and bottom. The left exterior mirror has had a "objects are closer than they appear" mirror glass pasted on over the original glass. The glass on the right outside mirror is clouding at the edges. The front of the hood, fenders and front spoiler have a few stone chips, but are in amazing shape for it's age/mileage. There are some small spots on the paint of the engine cover directly in front of the spoiler on the left side. I think I was able to show it well in the photos. The headlights are H-5's. Both tail light lenses have cracks. The front sunroof seal has a wear spot on it. The sunroof will need to have the right side cable replaced for it to work. The wheels are from RH Wheels. They are 17", 3-piece wheels.

Interior Condition:
The original Gray Leather interior is in fantastic condition. The driver's seat has some very slight wear on the bolster. The remainder leather and other panels are in excellent condition. The dash is not cracked. None of the seatbelts are frayed and retract as they should. The red plastic lens for the parking brake/brake failure warning light is missing. It has an aftermarket stereo/amp/speakers installed. It turned it on once to make sure it worked. The manuals for the stereo system are included. The steering wheel has some scrapes in the leather, but is in overall good condition. The right side power door lock works to unlock, but has to be manually locked. Will not lock via power or with key in outside cylinder of the door handle.

Mechanical:
The faults I know of are as follows:
The oil line from the thermostat to the oil tank is seeping from the fitting at the tank end. The "S" oil hose has some external cracks where it bends, but does not leak. The AC is presently not working. It requires a recharge every year to work. One of the hard steel oil lines to the front has a slight kink in it. Please see the photos. One of the electric horns is not working. Not sure if it's the low tone or high tone.

The front trunk carpet is in excellent condition. The original tool kit and jack are in excellent condition. The spare is a 951 alloy wheel as original. Miraculously, all of the hood/engine cover struts are working! Recent work by me was to replace the intermittent CD box with an MSD unit and MSD coil. Also installed were a new set of spark plugs and OE braided steel spark plug wire set.
The car has never run better. You can start it on the coldest day and drive away. The Bosch K-Jectronic works perfectly. The transmission shifts smooth. The tires are a little flat-spotted and require a few miles to come up to temperature and smooth out.
The car drives very well and is very fast. Definitely stronger than a stock 930.
