OH the curse of this business! Periodically,no frequently, as a purveyor of classic European automobles one comes across a superb example of a marque that one does not want to sell-THIS IS ONE OF THOSE CARS!!! I have had a love affair with MG cars for over 40 years and a special spot in my heart for MGA cars,it does not come much better than a Handsome British Racing Green tan leather MKII Roadster with wire wheels. Then you put the cherry on top with an exceptional, well sorted, superb driving example that is tight with high body integrity and one starts shaking the childrens piggy bank.I have shook the bank too often and must pass this love affair on to the next lucky owner. This car is all as good as reflected in the pictures and maybe surprisingly a touch better.ALL the rust prone spots on MGA cars are solid on this car with no indication that rust has been repaired, the car is rock solid. The inner sills are factory fresh and straight, the dogleg boxes are solid, all seams are in palce. The body panel gaps are perfect with perfect door, bonnet, decklid gaps and fit.The aluminum panels are straight including the doors. The interior is lovely with nice carpets, door panels, leather seats, correct dash, gauges are fresh and functioning correct(gas gauge bounces a bit), correct side curtain sleeve(side curtains are in good condition). The run and drive is thrillingly strong, tight, and perfect!!! I have owned hundreds of MGA cars at all condition levels and none have driven better than this car! Everything works as if the car was new in 1962.No shake,no pulsating,no stumbling, just solid, strong, straight forward 1600 MG driving.Tires are as new, wires are true with nice finish.I have sold some for more and some for less, this one is priced right on the money for a solid strong driving MKII.The car was restored in 2007-2008.The reader must have the impression I am impressed with this particular car,you will be too.Review the pictures and contact me at 615-971-4409.This and other European collectibles may be reviewed at JPFRAZIER.com.There will be an additional $298.50 assessed to each sales transaction for dealer doc fees.
