Being a Mercedes-Benz, it comes with a nice selection of comfort and convenience features. The SL combines those with state-of-the-art engineering, V8 performance and timeless styling to become the benchmark for luxury convertibles.
This SL500 is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 that puts out 302 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque. Its mated to an automatic tranmsmission with a manual shift mode. This car is responsive and provides a smooth power that lets you cruise at highway speeds like you're out for a lazy Sunday drive. Keep an eye on the speedomoter, because you might not realize just how fast you're going.
This hard-top convertible also has leather seats, dual power seats with heat and memory, power windows, locks, and mirrors, remote entry; dual-zone air conditioning, a BOSE AM/FM/CD changer stereo, GPS Navigation, power tilt and telescopic wheel, cruise control, HomeLink and much, much more....This Mercedes has genuine wood interior trim PLUS the optional wood steering wheel. Exterior features include fog lamps, headlamp washers and 18" alloy wheels.
As far as condition, it would be a real challenge to find a nicer pre-owned 2004 SL on eBay - or anywhere else. The paint shines, and there are no notable dents or dings. The interior is also nice with no rips, holes, or tears in the seats. All of the power functions work, and the A/C blows cold. The only noteworthy imperfection we found is that there are 2 small spots on the LCD display screen.
