2004 Mercedes-Benz SL600

This is a one owner, clean Carfax, fully serviced and detailed example of the Mercedes-Benz SL600 V12 roadster. Purchased new at Sears Imports Mercedes-Benz in Minnetonka, MN, it has been serviced exclusively at Sears Imports or Mercedes-Benz of Maplewood in Maplewood, MN throughout its life. I have been asked by the car's owner to handle its sale. The clean, clear MN title is in hand.

Color is Pewter Metallic w/ Charcoal leather interior (looks grey in some photos due to lighting, but 'charcoal' is basically very dark grey, almost black), headliner is light grey Alcantara (faux suede).

Actual one owner miles were 59,639 when I took these photos yesterday, I probably put another 10 - 15 miles on the car after the photos.

As you probably know, it's powered by a 5.5 liter Bi-turbo V12 producing 493 hp.

Exterior: This car was never driven during the Winter here in Minnesota, these cars are useless here in the Winter anyway. The owner of this car has a sort of 'garage-majal' that's thousands of square feet with a number of other cars, it's led a charmed life. Excellent condition all the way around. Paint is original on every panel. I went around the car with my digital paint meter and all variance in mils is withing acceptable factory spec. The car has never been in an accident, it's never had a panel repainted due to a ding, dent or scratch. There are no dents or dings anywhere. There are a handful of small rock chips along the leading edge of the hood, around the Mercedes badge, and a few on the top of the hood, as indicated in the photos, I pointed out some of them, you'll get the idea. There is a light scratch on the lower driver's side bumper, close to the front wheel well, i also pointed that out in the photos, those are the only exterior blemishes of any kind that I could find.Windshield is clean, clear and has no chips or cracks. The wheels are free of curb rash, there are water beads / streaks from driving the car out of the detail shop, visible in a few of the photos, they're not blemishes.

Interior: The charcoal leather interior is in excellent condition also, you would never guess there were 59,000 miles on the car. The carpets are clean, soft and supple. Wood trim is in great condition throughout. The seats are very nice, the only wear visible is on the driver's side outboard seat bolster (close up photo of that below). The passenger's seat presents as basically new. There is one little scuff on the leather along the console near where the passenger buckles their seat belt, probably a fingernail when buckling the belt, again, clearly shown in a photo below. No strange smells of any kind... not smoke, mothballs or anything else, just Mercedes leather.

Mechanical: This car was just treated to a pre purchase inspection and 'blank check' service at Sears Imports Mercedes-Benz last week... total service was $6,500+ (5 page service receipt is included in the photos below). Some of the things that were done include:

Minimal wear to door sill from getting in and out, no all scraped up like so many other examples.

Original carpet mats in great condition.

Typical wear to driver`s seat bolster.

Passenger`s seat bolster shows no wear.

V12 embossed headrests, all class in the SL600.

Rear storage, CD changer.

Alcantara headliner, Panorama roof.

Tool kit, cargo nets and other accessories are present.

Books, manuals, Navigation DVDs, even the ring bound `quick start guise #1 and #2 so often lost or misplaced.

Light scratch on driver`s front bumper, not very deep.

Various rock chips on hood.

Passenger`s side of center console, slight scratch in the leather.

Minor scuffing on door speaker cover area from getting in and out.

VIN label on driver`s door jamb.

5 pages of the service work performed at Sears Imports Mercedes-Benz last week.
