2000 PONTIAC GRAND AM SE 1

Great extra car, school, work, etc. It has miles on it, but it runs OK.

It has been sitting for about two year now, just moved it around the yard now and then. 

We replaced it with an SUV, and kept it for a spare. It has always ran for us... Owned it about 5 years or so.

PLEASE NOTE:  WE JUST LOWERED THE PRICE AND CAN NOT GO ANY LOWER... This is it.. 

There are eBay fees to pay, and I feel this price is MORE THAN FAIR!  IT IS A RUNNING CAR that MAY need a little attention... 

Condition:

• The front bumper cover and the hood have damage. We bought it like that and never fixed it, as it never effected drivability. There is some rust, please review the photos, we tried to cover all the good and bad.
• The Engine has ALWAYS ran perfectly. It is a 2.4 Litre. It uses about 1 quart of oil every 1200 to 1500 miles. I never found any leaks, I never have seen any excess or blue smoke from the exhaust. I saw no reason for the oil useage, it just uses a little oil. Was not what I consider real excessive, just had to check the oil when you fill with gas... It has a very minor tick, that I suspect will clear up with driving and or a fresh oil change. As I said, it has been sitting for a while.
• The transmission has always shifted fine. It drives OK overall...
• The brakes are a little rusted up, again, from sitting, so they make a little noise, but again, some driving, I expect them to clean up...
• The tires are FAIR. 1 was quite low on air, the others were at 20 to 30 PSI. The low tire is a little mis-shaped and may thump when driving again.. It has a memory from being almost flat.
• The suspension has a little groan to it. I assume from sitting, everything is a little stiff.
• The body has some rust, typical places a GRAND AM rusts... We photographed everything, the good and the bad...

HISTORY:

This was my daughtes car for several years. It was driven to school and work almost EVERY DAY...  I went from 25 to 70 miles every day and was her main daily driver.  It never failed her.  It was dependable and good on fuel.  She kept up with common repairs... It was a good car and that is why we kept it, as it was that dependable so it was our spare. I got too many cars, and it is time for her to go...

The car may need a little attention, since it was sitting for a while. It does run and drive. There is no current license or insurance on the car. It is your responsibility as to driving it, or hauling it when you purchase. It is up to you... This would be a good extra, spare, work or school car. OR, IT has a LOT of good parts...
