We recently bought a package of trucks from a barn up in Wisconsin. This one is a 1953 Chevy 6500 Dually Flatbed.  PLESE VIEW ALL PICTURES AND READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THIS IS AN 'AS IS' SALE OFF OF THE PICTURES ONLY. This truck shows 68,372 Miles on the odometer and based on the driveline and engine we believe this to be accurate. The truck starts and runs. We drove the truck up onto the trailer but the clutch is slipping very badly.  It does go in and out of gear. It was started regularly over the years and mainly used on the farm. The transmission shifts in all gears slthough the clutch will need replacing.

The body is rusty as you can see but the cab overall is definitely worthy of fixing.   The frame, as you can see, appears SOLID. The engine and driveline look excellent. The Hood is in decent shape as is the roof (rusty inside), fenders, doors etc..  Everything will need work but for the most part this is a  restorable unit.  Note  rocker rust. The Glass is all there (one piece of plexiglass) and functional however they all pretty much need replacing.  The rear window looks OK. All dash parts are present and I cannot comment on the funtionality of them. The truck steers easy and all suspension appears in tact and usable.
