Here we have a nice original 1992 Caprice Wagon with a 5.0 305 V8 Engine. I bought this car as a spare car for my twin boys to use during the winter because one of them drives a Camero and we all know a Camero don’t go in the snow.

 

I purchased the car from a local dealer. It has been great for our family but now it is time for it to go. I will do my best to explain all of the positive and negative points on the car. I encourage you to ask questions. The car is also available for local inspection.

 

Let me start off by saying this car runs great. It does not leak or burn oil. It starts up first time every time no matter what the weather. The exhaust system is quite and free of leaks. The engine is smooth and powerful. I would have no trouble driving this car to Florida tomorrow (I am serious)

•Clean engine compartment

•Everything works except what is noted below

 

The Negative

•ABS Light is On

•Only 2 Radio Speakers work

•Horn does not work

•A/C does not work

•Both Passenger window tracks need to be replaced – motors are fine

•Interior fair condition shown signs of wear

•Hood paint is chipped all over and faded on both corners

•Front bumper has scuff mark on left side and needs paint

•Rust on bottom of B pillar passenger side

•Minor Rust on Passenger front door

•Rust/Rot on passenger side Rear spare tire well

•Small Dent rear tailgate

•Rust/Rot on drivers side rear quarter behind wheel

•Car has various dings, scratches and chips as one would expect from a car that is 22 years old.

 The picture of the engine shows a air box flex pipe that is not on the car. also forgot to mention the plastic fan shroud has 2 cracks in it, neither of these item effect the performance or operation of the car.
