Porsche needing to replace its economical 912 model introduced their own water-cooled front engine sports coupe in the form of the Porsche 924. Further developments from the 924 platform, and an increase in engine size, Porsche then introduced the 944 model in 1983.  Porsche needing fuel economy, decided to stay with a 4 Cylinder all-alloy 2.5-litre Inline 4 cylinder engine. This engine was factory-rated at 150 horsepower in its U.S configuration. Revised bodywork with included wider wheel arches, fresh interior and upgrades to the braking and suspension components rounded out the major changes.

This 1983 Porsche has been lovingly owned by only two people all of its life.  Painstakingly cared for this 944 was special ordered in a brilliant Sienna Red, over a Brown Herringbone cloth interior.  Only driven when the sun was shining, this car is like a time warp.  No signs, of accident damage, nor rust.
