We got this jeep from a elderly couple who moved from Arkansas from central Wisconsin in 2010. The jeep has never been used on salted roads. It is basically rust free except for a small spot on the driver side below the the driver door. (see picture, easily fixed) there is a small dent on the lower driver side rear ( also easily fixed, see picture) where the previous owner backed into something in his garage. The tires are like new as pictured and the jeep drives down the road at 60 mph very solid.all four gears and reverse work like they should.  Brakes are good and the 6 cyl 258 cid engine runs great. The gas guage and temp guage are in/op ( have not diagnosed it ) but all of the other guages are working like they should. The 4x4 is working like it should. When we got the jeep in, the starter made noise so we replaced the starter and found that it was a fly wheel problem. we replaced the fly wheel, clutch, throwout bearing, preasure plate and pilot bushing. We also had the carborator rebuilt and replaced the rear pinion seal (small leak).The jeep should be in my opinion ready for you to enjoy with no major worries. The top is like new as well as the interior. The floorpans are solid and the undercarriage looks very clean. Where the spare tire attatches to the tailgate, there is a small weld on the top leading edge done by the previous owner due to thh extra preasure of the tire being mounted on the tailgate. (that weld should be redone, see picture) the tailgate opens and shuts the way it should. I was really impressed by how clean this jeep is being that it is 33 years old.  I attribute this to it spending most of its life in Arkansas. This is a super fun jeep to drive and has a great look!I do not want to overcall this jeep or undercall it, let the video, pictures, and description tell the story, I invite you to come and drive/inspect the jeep in person, have ebay do an inspection for you, or have me recommend a local mechanic to check it out for you.  I require a 500 dollar non refunadable paypal deposit 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the jeep, I will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. Deposit: a 500 dollar non refundable deposit must be paid by paypal or wire transfer within 24 hours of auction end. Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by bank wire transfer, mailing check, or cash in person. Customer has 30 days from end of sale to pick up or make arrangments with me to have the vehicle stored.  All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. We reserve the right to remove any listing due to on site sales. We also require that bidders internationally or with feedback score of zero contact us.

Customer pays sales tax and registration in the state they are from, we do not collect it. The deposit is non refundable, by backing out of the deal, you willingly forfeit the deposit. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. please remember you are bidding on a used vehicle and must understand that there will be normal wear and tear on the vehicle. We do our best to show you every fault we can find but somethings things may go unseen to us. A 20 dollar per a day storage fee will be added to the final price if the vehicle is not picked up within 30 days of the auction end as that is what it cost me to store the vehicles. please contact me if you need more than 30 days prior to bidding.
